Yorktown Day will be celebrated Thursday, 19 October 2018. The presently-scheduled sequence of events includes the following. (If times change due to weather, you will be notified by email by the Chapter.)

9:00 AM: Wreath Laying Ceremony at the grave of Governor Thomas Nelson, Jr. at the Grace Episcopal Church, 115 Church Street, Yorktown, Virginia 23690, sponsored by the Virginia Society, Sons of the American Revolution. George Mason Chapter shall present our chapter wreath.

10:30 AM: Yorktown Day Parade, Main Street, Yorktown, Virginia, sponsored by the National Park Service.

11:15 AM: Patriotic Exercises and Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Monument to Alliance and Victory, Yorktown, Virginia, sponsored by the Yorktown Day Association.

Optional Lunch: Following there will be a Brunswick stew lunch at the Grace Episcopal Church sponsored by the Yorktown Ladies Association. Cost is $5.00 per person. Cash preferred.
