Members of the George Mason Chapter serve proudly in the VASSAR Color Guard, the Virginian color guard of the Sons of the American Revolution.

The current Commander of the George Mason Chapter Color Guard is Colonel Andrew Johnson.

The current Commander of the Northern Virginia Region of the Virginia Society Color Guard is Regional Commander Larry McKinley.

The Commander of the Virginia Society Color Guard is Commander Bill Schwetke, and his Adjutant is Paul Chase.
